Three charged with robbery in Gillingham

Three men have been charged with committing a robbery in Gillingham.

Officers have charged David Howarth, 43, of Britton Street, Gillingham, with two counts of robbery.

Nicholas Noble, 36, of High Street, Chatham, and Dean Lacey, 43, of High Street, Gillingham, have both been charged with one count of robbery.

The charges against them relate to an incident at a home in Upper Britton Place, Gillingham, where it was reported three men forced their way inside between 10pm and 10:33pm on Tuesday, November 15.

Inside the home were four men who were allegedly ordered to hand over their money, two were also reportedly assaulted.

Mr Lacey has also been charged with a count of burglary in relation to an incident in Gillingham High Street which was reported to have occurred at a commercial premise at 8am on Tuesday, November 1.

The three men have been remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, December 15.
